~GETTING THERE~

Colorado Springs is located 85 miles south of the Denver International Airport (DIA) and 10 miles from the Colorado Springs Regional Airport. If you are flying into DIA, we recommend renting a car to drive down to Colorado Springs. If you are flying into Colorado Springs, Uber and Hotel Shuttles are available should you choose not to rent car.

If you'd like to explore shuttle service from DIA, we recommend looking into Groome Transportation.

Please note if you are planning to stay off the Broadmoor property, we are not providing shuttle transportation on the wedding day and you will be responsible for getting to/from the wedding.

Altitude adjustment

Colorado Springs is south of Denver and sits at 6,033 feet above sea level. Denver is 5,280 feet (1 mile high) above sea level. Altitude can be an issue! Here is some information and advice on having a wonderful wedding weekend with us.

TIPS + TRiCKS

DRINK WATER! - Before your trip to Colorado, and while you are here, drinking plenty of water is the number one way to help your body adjust easily to our higher altitude. The low humidity in Colorado keeps the air dry, like the desert, so you need about twice as much water here as you would drink at home!

Monitor Your Alcohol Intake - In Colorado's rarified air, golf balls go ten percent farther… and so do cocktails. Alcoholic drinks pack more of a punch than at sea level. It is recommended that you go easy on the alcohol in the mountains and in Denver, as its effects will feel stronger here.
